One bedroom available in two-bedroom first floor of a roomy, sunny home 7 min walk from Davis Square and the Red Line and just across the street from Tufts. Powderhouse Square, a mere half block away, is a stop on many bus lines, including the 96 into Harvard Square.

The house contains 1 bath, free washer/dryer, wireless internet, nice large kitchen, porch room, living room, and den. It's a beautiful and spacious home for two people. The available bedroom is about 9' by 13' with a closet. It's furnished, but if you have your own furniture we also have lots of room in the basement and can move the current furniture down there. My roommate is leaving for the summer because of work, but it's a great place and we don't want to move.

I am a female MIT graduate student. I'm looking for a responsible, moderately quiet, queer-friendly roommate for the summer. No smoking or pets. The household is generally fairly calm, with no big parties, and we tend to plan any small gatherings a bit in advance. We strive to be clean (especially in the kitchen) though aren't always 100% successful -- so, ideally, we'd like someone who has the same goal and is reasonably neat, but who won't freak out if it's not always completely tidy.

The room is approximately available from May 1st-August 30th, but dates on both ends are flexible (rent would be pro-rated accordingly).
