After a long week at work, I'm looking to get an impromptu massage either today or tomorrow. The only place I've been around here is Massage Therapy Works, which I found to be just okay (I don't remember who my massage therapist was). Any other recommendations in the area in about the same price range, or if anyone particularly likes Massage Therapy Works, who do you recommend there? (specifically looking for therapeutic massage)

I really like Gordon at MTW. I went to him for prenatal massage, but he REALLY got in there and worked my muscles, it was divine!

Easy answer: Urban Oasis. Ask for Kelly, as she is amazing at what she does.

You can also try either the full price (faculty) or discounted (student) massages at Muscular Therapy Institue (http://www.cortiva.com/locations/mti/clinic/) in Watertown - friends of mine used to get discount massages there all the time - or the same deal at The Massage Institute of New England (http://verizonsupersite.com/minemassageinstitutecom/door/) way over by the McGrath Highway.

If I wanted a treat I'd take myself to Urban Oasis. I've not had a massage there, but the vibe is terrific.
