Rebones takes credit cards!
May. 22nd, 2006 10:56 amJust thought I'd pass this along: Redbones now (finally) accepts credit cards!
Apparently this just happened within the past couple of months, but it's about time! No more making sure you have piles of cash before eating and/or drinking there.

Date: 2006-05-22 05:51 pm (UTC)Citizens pulled a similar nasty trick back in 2000, when it acquired USTrust. One promise Citizens made during the acquisition process was that it would join the SUM network. No problem, eh? Only Citizens then announced it was charging its own accountholders a $1.50 surcharge for foreign ATM transactions, including ATMs on the SUM network.
That rule has since been rescinded, but man, it was a nice kick in the teeth to those of us who'd had their beloved USTrust taken away.
