disc diggers space to become central bank

From the rumor mill... I heard that the Disc Diggers space is going to become an extension of Central Bank which I believe has a branch a few doors down right now. Note that this is what I heard through the grapevine from a local business owner so I can't say I'm 100% sure this is true.

Not the same as the late, lamented Mr. Crepe, but there's now a little crepe stand in the Porter Exchange building. It's mostly sweet crepes, but they have a couple of savories.

I've been by that. The only reason I didn't try one was because there's no place to sit down (unless a bench is free, which wasn't the case). Wonder how that will affect their business...

Central Bank is at 399 Highland, while Disc Diggers was at 401 Highland, right next door. So it makes sense, but still so disappointing.

There's a building permit in the window of ex-Disc Diggers, but it doesn't say much -- just installing two bathrooms and a kitchenette.

A tax accountant occupies a storefront between Disc Diggers and Central Bank.
