Donating Linens?

Hello all - Does anyone know if the Salvation Army/Goodwill or any local charities take gently used lines? Like bath towels, blankets etc?

OOOOH, me, me, me!

Okay, not me, but the place I work. I work at a girls' residential treatment center, specifically in the short-term program, and we have girls come in all the time without belongings, so we are constantly in need of towels, sheets, blankets, et cetera. If this sounds like someplace you would want to donate your linens, let me know and I can email you with relevant information.

What other kinds of things can you use there? It sounds like a great place to donate linens, etc - are there other things I could add to that? Do you have a website or anything with information on all the stuff you guys need/want/etc?

Oh! Does it matter if the linens don't match? I have some flat sheets that have lost their fitted sheets and vice versa. Can you email me the relevant info too?

It doesn't matter a lick if they don't match. In fact, we hand out mismatched sheets to the girls approximately 99% of the time. :)

I would much rather give my stuff to a place that will actually use them, rather than a place that turns around and sells them.
