scruffy boy haircuts...

I'm thinking about trying out Salon Cu, in Ball Sq. I was wondering if anyone had a specific stylist to recommend or just feedback in general. I usually go for a scruffy/choppy/messy look (aka "the generic hipster")

I too am looking for a liquid alternative!

I love love my stylist there, but when I first went there she was $20, she just raised her rates again to $50. I'm totally happy for her if she can keep up her clientload at that rate, but I cannot justify that for my scruff :)

Melanie! And I will miss her if I do stop going there--she is great (and a great colorist from what my friend says). A coworker of mine also swears by the big male ownerman (I forget his name) for coloring.

She is worth $50 if you have a difficult look to go for or are really fussy/neurotic about your hair.

I have heard some bad things about some of the newer stylists there. No horror stories, just disappointments.

SHUT UP! That's who i go to!!!!! hehehehe

I mean seriously I won't talk smack about her because she's given me some really masterful chic funky haircuts...she's absolutely great. But the last cut was SO disappointing...within about 10 days it grew out and started to look like a mullet. And I specifically said I didn't want ANY length in the back.

But again I just don't trust getting color done there so I need a 1 stop stylist :)

I love my old stylist but the new salon he opened is a little too stuffy for my taste :)
