ok, so i drink rice milk and used to drink soy.

do you guys think i can recycle those containers?

they both come in those 'tetra-pak' things that are basically boxes with a layer of foil or something inside, and a plastic spout.

i live in somerville.

if i can recycle them, would they be in the cardboard/paper section, or in the containers (milk and juice etc.) section?

The last I checked you could recycle those (and juice boxes); they go with the containers not with the paper. But I haven't read the fine print in a while; someone might have more up to date information than I.

I've never seen anyone separate recycles on my street; if it's to be recycled, it goes in the blue bin, but I see bottles, cans, boxes, papers all mixed together.

I always wondered how that worked, but it's been going on for 6 years.
