Saturday, June 14
10:00am: Somerville Pride Flag Raising, in Davis Square.
Speaking at this year's event will be Mayor Dorothy A. Kelly Gay, Human Rights Commission Executive Director Shenandoah Titus, Women's Commission Executive Director Christie Mase, State Representative Pat Jehlen, State Senator Jarrett Barrios, Community Police Officer Joe Vivolo, Somerville GSA President and Vice President, John and Nora, OutSomerville Member Joe Beckman, and Somerville Resident David Rudewick.
There will also be a reading of the first-ever Somerville Pride Proclamation, and Somerville has been re-certified as an Anti-Defamation League "No Place for Hate" community.
