Did anyone lose a bike?

This'll sound strange, but did anyone get their red bike stolen last night, or in the past few days? A bike was found on the bike path this morning; a note was placed on the inside of the iron gates near the Buena Vista St. crosswalk giving the phone number of the person who rescued it.

That's what I thought when I saw it too (though the fact that there were *two* tires laying on the ground, as well as the one on the bike, was odd). It was only when I came back by in the afternoon and saw the note on the ground that I put 2 + 2 together.
