Looking for room, sublet, or studio for medium term (until approximately May 2007)

I am looking to move back to the neighborhood of Davis Square and environs. Desired qualities: walking distance to the Red Line (for easy access to work), preferably walking distance to Davis Square, parking for one vehicle nearby, in house laundry. Now the problem: I am moving into a condo in Cambridge in April or May of 2007; I just need a room (or studio/one bedroom apt.) until the condo is ready.

About me: poly, partnered, male, 44, emergency physician; don't drink but don't mind if others do, don't smoke and *do* mind if others do, at least anywhere near my living space. Not notably encumbered with furniture at the moment, but I have the basics (bed, desk, air conditioner). I am not compulsively neat, but am capable of keeping my space and common space neat. I do somewhat compulsively do dishes; previous housemates have found this to be a feature :-) Since I work in an emergency department, my schedule is erratic, and I will sometimes need to sleep during the day, having worked overnight the night before.

My partner will be over to visit frequently, but will not be 'moving in' in any sense of the word-she has her own house to live in, and her other partner to live with.
