Madison's on the Ave

Has anyone tried Madison's on the Ave, up on Highland near Central, in the space that was formerly Virgie's? I've passed it a couple of times in the past week and wondered if it was worth checking out.

As you know, we live ridiculously close and have been waiting patiently for it to open, which it finally did last week. We'd love to try it out with you, sometime!

Madison's on the Ave is Great!

Hi Everyone!

I have been to Madison's on the Ave several times.

The food has been good each time. The veal has been excellent.
Burgers are good. Chicken wraps are good.

I also go there on Monday nights because they run a FREE Texas Hold
'Em poker league.

They give away tshirts, gift certificates and other prizes each night.

Free and fun with good prizes does it for me!

It's on my list as it's a 5-minute walk from where I live. But a roommate said she went there the week it opened and experienced horrendous service including waiting an hour for food to be served.
