Needed: volunteers for playbill advertising and printing, and flyer distribution. These tasks are not too time-intensive, so please read on and see what you can do!


We have approximately two weeks to get the playbill in working order, and I need some volunteers who can help solicit printing and advertising.

If you are interested in canvassing an area (for example, Davis Square, Mass Ave in North Cambridge, Belmont Center....) to find businesses who will buy ad space in the playbill, and can put on a professional demeanor to do so, please email me so that I can provide you with a packet and basic
instructions.

Also, if you have any printer connections and can check into donation of printing of playbills, please let me know. The specifications: b&w, 2,000 programs, 8.5x11, two sheets, double sided, folded. No bleeds. This is basically a glorified copy job. :)

For The Swan Stage Company's August production of Shakespeare's "Othello".

You'd probably have better luck soliciting volunteers if you were upfront about the project and organization. (And though you've got a nice website at www.swanstage.com (http://www.swanstage.com/), it's not particularly obvious that Othello opens in two weeks.)

Actually, it opens on August 14th, which is about 3-4 weeks. Much work to be done...
