Getting a car detailed

Hi folks,

A friend of mine is looking to get her car detailed, around Davis/Teele area. I don't own a car so I was of absolutely no help...any suggestions?

Heh, I had to ask to find out -
It's a super-duper car cleaning service, from my understanding. If you think of a car wash as a shower or bath, apparently 'detailing' is like a spa treatment for your car. I'm told that it usually costs anywhere from $100-$200 to get a car detailed.

I didn't have my car detailed but I had the interior cleaned there @ 6 months ago. They used some gawd awful stuff ("armorall"?) that I guess is fragranced to give a "new car smell" - mmm.... soft creamy leather seats.... except I have velour seats in the car and the faux leather scent smelled like dirty socks. I could "get" the leather smell if I suspended my disbelief, crossed my legs and squeezed really hard but mostly it was nauseating. Took a month for the stink to go away. It was worse than dryer stink (those horrid "softener" things people use).
