The Someday Café in Davis Square closed its doors this month to the dismay of its many loyal customers.
The café was a relaxed and affordable place where, for the price of a cup of coffee or ice cream cone, you could sit for hours talking with friends, old and new.
One longtime customer, Jessica Schumann, joined the effort to keep the Someday in business by creating a short movie as a call to action. The video interviews customers and staff about the role the café played in their lives and the Davis Square scene.
You can see the Someday Café video Friday, Aug. 18, at 9:30 p.m. or Monday, Aug. 21, at 4:30 p.m. on SCAT Channel 3. For information about SCAT programming call 617-628-8826 or visit access-scat.org.
