Off-site landlady, easy to get in touch with and very hip. Nice upstairs neighbors, dog owners, though I never hear or see their dog!
Me:
•Female, full time job, late twenties
•Usually quiet but willing (and hoping) to have a friendly relationship with a roommate.
•Not home every night but when I am I like to watch television or listen to music.
•I’m not a neat freak but like the place to look tidy. Full cleaning as needed.
•One cat and one small dog in residence
•Carless, so PeaPod grocery home delivery is often utilized. I’m also a Zipcar member
•GLBT, poly, pagan, geek, nerd, dork, role-player, musician, artist, actor and normal friendly.
You?
•Mid to late twenties or early thirties
•Working full time or other source of steady income, prompt with bills
•Smokers okay, but please keep it outside
•Cats and dogs welcome (pending landlady approval)
•Laid back and respectful of privacy
•Tendency towards tidiness but not anal about cleaning
Rent alone is $650 a month. I'm totally cool with negotiating on this.
Utilities are separate and run about $100 a month for Comcast internet (wireless compatible), digital cable, electric and gas.
Month-to-month lease!! Landlord requires first, last & security (half of your monthly rent) but is flexible and willing to work with you to decide on a reasonable payment timeline. You don't need to be on the lease if you don't want to be, either.
