This year I get dental insurance. It's the first year since undergrad I'll have had it. Whee. But I have to choose a primary dentist. Anyone have one around here (preferably biking distance from me) that they like? I'll check if they're on my insurance.

They are in T distance as opposed to biking distance, but if you're having anything major done you won't want to be biking anyway.

Date: 2006-08-22 03:03 pm (UTC)(Though really, it's the hygenist who I see the most, and mine is Stella, and she is absolutely awesome, because she will *explain* things, like how plaque works and why I need to floss.)

Date: 2006-08-22 08:16 pm (UTC)YEA!!! Go to Casey ... I mean Dr. Cook. Who else would give you recommendationa about your fantasy football team while in the dentist chair??
But, seriously, Dr. Cook is hands down the best dentist in the area (and is, frankly, the best dentist I've ever been to). He's a great dentist and takes the time to explain exactly what's going on in your mouth, what you do and don't need, and and takes extra steps to make you comfortable in his office. He only recommends procedures when you need them. His hygenist, assistant and office manager are maybe the nicest people of all time. And, he throws a Christmas party for all of his patients at The Burren!
I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Cook.
And if you like sports, mention it to him. He'll talk your ear off!
