Edit: all the big stuff listed is spoken for or gone already. Sorry!. But there is still a continually growing pile of free stuff on the curb!
We're moving and still have lots of stuff we can't take with us. The big things include:
A beautiful antique (1920s, maybe earlier) treadle sewing machine in good condition. It would only need a little love and attention, and maybe a new bobbin case and belt, to make it work. Then you could have a human powered sewing machine! I hate to get rid of this but it's so heavy, and difficult to move, that I just can't keep it.
A smallish plain black laminate desk sort of thing that I'm guessing was intended to be used as a tv table. It's about 2.5 feet tall by about 2.5 feet long. Too small for a desk really, unless you are very small! In great condition. I just don't need it anymore...
Large color tv. No remote, and has a loose connection where you plug cable in (fixable with a quick bit of soldering, my husband says). Otherwise, it works well. We just don't watch tv anymore...
We have to move out in the next day or so, so if you want any of these things, act fast! We're on Spring Hill, pretty much right behind the Armory. We're also putting stuff out on the curb for free. It's mostly the left overs from the free "yard sale" I had on Monday. So if you're in the neighborhood, take a look and see if there's anything you want on the curb at 65 Hudson Street.
