So clearly Someday isn't serving ice cream, so I went to Diesel to get some toscanini ice cream. They have stopped selling ice cream. This seems like a bad idea since Someday's customers might try Diesel. Of course when I asked what they made their ice cream drinks out of, i got a blank stare.

I went to JP Licks, I guess the only ice cream place in the square now.

Diesel had a slight remodel recently, and apparantly they haven't figured out where to put the ice cream yet...

there's also an ice cream place on Holland, up near teele sq. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but it's pretty close by.

Maybe they still have ice cream in bulk for making those drinks, but they no longer have the little pre-packaged Toscis cups. I'll ask next time I'm there.

The place up Holland (it's next to PJ Ryans) is just wonderful. They have many of their icecreams out on display in big, colorful piles behind a glass freezer case. And it is soooooo much better than JP Licks, who I never forgave for not being Denise's anymore.

I mean it is really lovely, tasty beautiful icecream.

The little cafe next to Martsa has ice cream. Carberrys used to have ice cream, before it became that hideous new place.
