The Destruction has begun! (VFW building @ Teele)

The back end of the VFW buidling has been torn down! I also got a newsletter in the mail saying that the buidling should be down soon, and that it won't be ready for occupancy until Fall 2007. I'll post that too if I ever get time. it had a pretty bad picture on the front of it, so bad that I couldn't tell if they planned stores on the bottom or not, and it looked like a corner building, but its in the middle of a block, unless the Middlesex bank is going too, at a later date.

I ran into some construction workers on Dover Street, next to the One Davis Square building. They said they expect to begin demolition of that building in about two weeks.
