Since there are so many cat owners on this LJ community, I thought it would be okay to post this:

I have a bunch of cans of Hill's Prescription Diet c/d (mostly or all "with chicken" or chicken-flavored) cat food and a good amount of the dry c/d kibble (but we took it out of its bag and put it into another container for better storage). This was all bought in July/August.

If your cat eats this and you want to come pick it up -- I hate to put it on the curb and I don't have a car to take it to a shelter -- contact me at OpnHeartd@hotmail.com.

Hello! Simon eats this and I'd be happy to come pick it up. As it happens however I'm in Hawaii on vacation for a couple weeks. So -- I could come get it in the first week in October.

(Or alternately, if you're willing, you could drop it off when opn is upstairs from us. There's an outside chance Simon would need it before we get back so that might actually be very useful!)

In any case, good on you for looking for a home for the food rather than throwing it out...

You know, it occurs to me that you probably have nothing at all to do with a local event-among-friends whose initials are "OPN" -- in which case ignore that part! :-)

I'll set it all aside for you to come pick it up the first week in October (or, feel free to have a friend come and get it before then if Simon runs out of food!). I'm glad it'll be going to a cat who can use it. :)))
