I have old cell phones, computer cards, a printer... They are taking up space here, and short of trading emails with craigslist poseurs, I'd rather just donate the lot to somewhere that would take them. Does the thrift shop in Davis take this stuff? Or somewhere else?

MIT's reuse list (reuse@mit.edu) may also be a likely candidate. People do come out to pick things up (we got rid of privit hedges in front of out house that way. People even dug them up!)

reuse is limited to member of the MIT community. They're reasonably strict about it.

One thing you can do is put them on the curb and post it to CraigsList "Free" section. No interactions, just let people know they are on the curb.
