Oct. 6th, 2006 03:43 pmHey everybody!
I was wondering if anyone knows of an awesome place in the area to
rent or buy a tuxedo with tails. I'm also interested in getting a
nice top hat and cane to go with it. Any recommendations would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your (undoubtedly) excellent suggestions. :)

Hi! I'm being needlessly pedantic! :)
Date: 2006-10-06 09:49 pm (UTC)"White Tie" is the level of formality wherein one encounters (or wears) a tailcoat and a white bowtie of textured pique. "Black Tie" is the level of formality wherein one wears a tuxedo and a black bowtie of grosgrain, though in recent years shawl lapels have been replaced in closets by peak or notch lapels - this is in contrast to a tailcoat, which always has peaked lapels rather than shawl lapels. It has to do with origins, here, where the tuxedo allegedly began as a formalized smoking jacket.
Now, all of that completely aside, to answer your question, I've heard nothing but good things about Keezers!
