Does anyone know of any good (and preferably cheap) animal clinics/ veterinarians in the area? I've just moved here and my cat's in need of a checkup.

yep, my vote too. it's always one of the top ones recommended when this question comes up here (previous posts on the subject are probably in the tags, by the way, if you're interested in reading them).
