demolition outside my window at one davis. suprisingly, i didn't notice it for like a half hour. which is good, because i was worried it was going to be too loud.

Ooh, is it messing with traffic or parking right there? I was going to borrow my boss's car to make a post office run, but I have enough trouble parking at the post office when there's NO construction.

Right now, the street next to the Post Office is closed. They are knocking down that side of the One Davis Sq building.

(just an update, i went through there to get lunch, and the streets aren't actually closed. there are barriors around the building, but the streets themselves are open)

About an hour ago, the parking lot behind the building was blocked off with orange traffic cones. The attendant told people they could still walk through the lot, but to stay on the left side.

yeah, i've been watching people cut through there most of the day. although, i walked out to get lunch, and neither day or the street on the other side have been blocked off...

I just noticed the giant hole, yup. don't walk that way often... I feel silly for being so behind the times..
