Hi all,

I am doing a research project for my Social Work class analyzing the community at Davis Square.

I found this website and have actually found it to be a very valuable resource.

One thing I have had trouble with, though, is finding out more about the elected officials that represent Davis Square - locally, statewide, etc.

If anyone knows who your representatives/senators are, or if anyone knows anything about a local council or government, I would LOVE details - their politics, names, etc.

You might even get to be cited in my paper! ;-)

Thanks so much.

http://www.ci.somerville.ma.us/mysom_address.cfm (http://www.ci.somerville.ma.us/mysom_address.cfm) will give you info on elected officials, trash pickup, ward info, and even building assessment info for any address in somerville.

There are also four aldermen-at-large, elected from the entire city: Bruce Desmond, Denise Provost, Dennis Sullivan, and Bill White. None of them live in Ward 6. I suspect Provost and White get the most votes from our neighborhood, but I don't know that for sure.

All of Somerville is in Congressman Mike Capuano's district.
