Anyone know where I can get a nice pumpkin in the Somerville area?  I'm hoping to carve one up tonight ;)

Update:  Whole Foods has tons of beautiful pumpkins for $5.99!

Dude, they're growing all over people's porches and stuff. I've seen 'em everywhere.

Or, on the off chance you don't care to commit petty larceny, I'd say check Pemberton Farms on Mass Ave. Just a block or two away from Davis Square.

Pemberton's has a bunch if you're over by Davis Square.

I'll second that. Shaws in Porter doesn't appear to have pumpkins anymore, and Pemberton's has a great selection. They're expensive at $0.59/lb, but that seems par for the course this year. Bad harvest, maybe?

I got a nice big one for $5 at Johnny's Foodmaster on B'way/16, but I don't know if they still have them - they didn't seem to have many then.

I got a nice pumpkin from Pemberton Farms on Mass Ave. It was $0.59/pound, and the one I got had a full cookie-sheet of seeds inside. :) Mmmm.. Fresh Pumpkin Seeds.

They had a good supply on Friday.
