davis_squareThe Yerxa Road pedestrian underpass in North Cambridge officially opened yesterday afternoon. It runs under the railroad tracks, from the intersection of Yerxa Road and Pemberton Street to Walden Square.
It is fully accessible to wheelchairs, strollers, and bicycles, and it looks great. It provides a useful shortcut for Davis-area folks to reach Danehy Park, the Fresh Pond shopping center, or Fresh Pond itself.
