No on 5 and 6; also, the Burren's 2 am license application

Another blogger explains, better than I can, why Somerville residents should vote No on non-binding questions 5 and 6 tomorrow.

The same blogger also tells us why he thinks a 2 am license for the Burren isn't such a great idea.

I'd totally be down with a 24-hour Store 24, although I imagine the people living directly upstairs from it wouldn't exactly be happy with the post-bar crowd all coming 'round for ice cream and sodas and smokes at two and three.

I'd like a 24-hour Store 24 too. I've heard that the hours were restricted to 18 because customers in the parking lot were making too much noise while people who lived above the store were trying to sleep. Instead of closing the store from midnight to 6, a better solution would be to just close the parking lot during those hours.
