Roofer Recommendations?
Nov. 14th, 2006 02:16 amWe need a leak repaired in our roof and we were wondering if anyone here had a roofer who was prompt and did a good job. The last two we dealt with never even delivered a contract and kept us waiting. Thanks!

Date: 2006-11-14 02:49 am (UTC)There's a bunch of good consumer info out there on how to hire contractors. I strongly suggest you read it, especially since it sounds like you've already had a couple of negative experiences. I'd hate to see you not only have a negative experience but to pay huge sums of money to have a negative experience.
Good luck

Date: 2006-11-14 12:34 pm (UTC)I had good luck with a guy out of Cambridge
Date: 2006-11-14 12:49 pm (UTC)His name is Andrew and his number is 617-519-3662. I forgot the name of his company - but he's basically a one man operation, he hired a couple of guys to help him strip my old shingles but does most of the work himself.
