We've got one bedroom available in a huge 3+ bedroom apartment in Somerville, located three blocks north of Davis Square on a quiet one-way street. It's literally a five minute walk to Davis (we timed it!)

Would you like it, or know someone who would? It's available December 1st; move-in date negotiable.

The House
We occupy the second and third floors of a three-story two-unit "Philadelphia Style" house. The building was built in 1910 but is in good condition.

• 3 bedrooms
• 1.5 baths
  
• Free washer and dryer in the house (save your quarters!)
• Lots of living space: Dining room, living room, TV room/den, kitchen with gas range, pantry, front and back porches.
• Fenced-in back yard, storage in basement and under eaves, hardwood floors.
• Gas heat (and a brand-new efficient hot water heater)
• Shared driveway with the first floor apartment and on-street parking with Somerville permit.

The room available is reasonably large, has access to eaves from its closet for extra storage space, and doesn’t share a common wall with either of the other two bedrooms.

Who we are

• Two professional/grad student type guys in their late twenties-early thirties, 1 professional and 1 grad student.
• Generally quiet: one musician who practices the French horn at reasonable hours and one shower singer
• Reasonably neat; chaos is confined to personal spaces
• One large longhaired cat, famous on the Internet for being fat and sassy
• All kinds of friendly: queer, poly, pagan, geek, just plain weird, etc. Basically, we have quarks for friends: Some strange, some charmed, some up, some down, some tops, some bottoms, some left and some right (though more left than right, this being Davis Square and all.)

And you?

• Carbon-based humanoid lifeform, sentience and free will a plus (bonus points for getting the quark joke)
• Mid-late 20s to early 30s, working full time or other source of steady income, prompt with bills
  
• Any gender you care to be
• Non-indoor-smoker (porch areas negotiable)
• Not allergic to cat hair (one additional cat is also welcome, provided it is mellow and plays well with others)
• Tolerant of the presence of meat in the kitchen
• Laid back and respectful of privacy
