Hello fellow Davis dwellers!

My car was recently hit and I need a respectable place to get an estimate on the damage. (And by respectable, I mean a place that will not rip me off :0) I like supporting local businesses, but am relatively new to the area and just plain don't know who to trust. Any help would be appreciated.

My car is at Dick's Body Shop RIGHT NOW and I'm very pleased with their communication skills and everything else.

Dick's Auto Body is perhaps one of the best body shops in New England. They've done work on my car, and at least 3 other friends have had excellent work there.

One piece of advice: take your car to Dick's before you let an insurance adjustor look at it. They know how to make the process go smoothly (like having the adjustor look at the car at Dick's).

i really liked lein's auto but i think they exclusively work on vw and audi. they did a great job on my car and knew exactly what was wrong (unlike the guy who i took it to originally to "fix")
