Jewelry repair in somerville

I have a ring that needs to be resized. Any good jewelry repair places in the area? How long does it take and how much does it usually cost? I'm clueless about these things so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Jade Moran resized my ring, but I also bought it from her; don't know if she does other people's rings or not, but she's awesome, so you should check her out. Don't remember how much it cost. It wasn't in the shop too long -- a couple of days, not so long that I got seriously unnerved about not having my wedding ring on ;). She has a place on Highland. (http://www.jademoran.com/)

I'll second Jade Moran (http://www.jademoran.com/). She's great, and a local artist too. So you'd be getting what you needed and be supporting local art too! We had our wedding rings done by her, and love her and her work (and her dog and cat too!).

She's almost across the street from Somerville Hospital, and pretty much next to the fire station on Highland. Tell her Turtle sent you!

Thanks both to the poster of this original thread and the respondents. I was actually looking to have a set of my partner's grandmother's old wedding jewelery re-sized. I hopped on to make a post, only to find my question already posted and answered. I gave Jade a call today and she is wonderful! I may also utilize her to help surprise my partner with the matching bands we couldn't afford when we married. Happy holidays all!

Thank you to all who responded. I spoke to Jade today, she's great, very helpful. Beautiful stuff on her website, I think I too will be going to her in the future for the wedding bands. Thanks again.
