Anyone know where in the area I can buy Sterno? Would Shaws or Tags in Porter have it? Anyplace in the Camberville area I can get to by subway and a spot of walking would rock.

Tags might sell it. Another possibility is the sporting/hunting store just down Mass Ave (between Porter and Beech St.).

I'm reasonably sure I saw some at Brooks, of all places, yesterday afternoon. They were small cans in 3-packs, but big cans just burn the bottom of the fondue, anyway.

I don't think Sterno is actually that uncommon a substance - anywhere with camping equipment should have it at the very least. If you get really stuck, try Crate and Barrel.
