hey guys,
ok so one person said st. joseph's is the closest catholic church to the square, but I see a handful listed online. They all look around the same distance, a mile or 2 from the square? Can someone tell me anything about the distinctions btwn them? St. Josephs, St. Annes, St. Catherine, St. Clement, & St. Anthony? Or should I just go to a mass at all of em hahah.....
Hmmm...
Thankkkkkkks!

Date: 2006-12-29 03:50 pm (UTC)St Clement's (http://www.rcab.org/bin/f.wk?rcab.info.entry.display+@ID=4374) is right on the Somerville-Medford border, but depending where in the Davis area you're coming from, it might be closer than St John's.
St Catherine's is definitely not as close to Davis as St John's. It's about 15 minute walk from from the Porter T and probably a little more from Davis, though I've never made that walk. I've been inside. It's a very pretty light blue color. They have a web site (http://www.masspromotions.com/clients/stcatherines/).
I don't know anything about St Ann's, but they also have a web site (http://www.stannsomerville.org/).
There IS a St Joseph's, but it's in Union Square.

I've sometimes seen anti-abortion displays in the yard outside. That would creep me out, but might not bother you.
