The Wholistic Enchilada!

I love the Davis Square Community! And I also love some other things too. So I made a community called The Wholistic Enchilada (aka whole_e) for people who like to talk about the amazing, interesting, and confusing things about life, the universe, and everything. Please join!

If you do stop in at The Wholistic Enchilada, you may get to see what happens when I try to make raw crackers out of flax seeds, and there may be some animations that make you feel weird (I'm just learning how to do animated GIFs), bicycling tips for hippy geeks, reviews of BBC tv shows, Buddhist koans, an explanation of why I put baking soda on my head somewhat regularly, and maybe you'll even get some triangles! Ooooh, triangles!

Oh, and there may be some conversations about... gasp... Union Square! Since that's where I live right now, practically across from the Prospect Hill Castle, which I was lucky enough to go to the top of and take pictures from when the city opened it on New Years Day for a few short minutes (wouldn't want to let too many people enjoy the view now would they?) And I've been itching to post those pictures from the top of Somerville somewhere...

Well there are in fact humorous things in my post, but they are humorously factual things! And also, while it is not terribly important, I would mention that I am not much of a sir.

I would love to have the folks who hang around these Davis Square LJ parts come visit my top of the hill LJ parts, if people were so inclined. And it would give people an outlet for "off topic" posts that some communities frown upon.

I wouldn't care if it had something remotely to do with Davis Square other than "davis square is a place I like!"

Seriously, would it be appropriate for me to post about a community I'm starting for people who like bunnies and waffles, want to talk about why H&M clothes fit weird, and gossip about the latest OC episode? I enjoy these things while I live near Davis Square! I want to talk about them with other people who live in or around Somerville!

I'm just sayin' that this post had nothing whatsoever to do with Davis Square.

I guess I'm not being clear here. My original post has everything to do with the Davis Square Community, because I made the Wholistic Enchilada Community primarily because people were complaining about "off topic" posts in the Davis Sqaure community. I wanted to have a place where people like you could suggest other people go to to talk about things that don't have an immediate relevance to Davis Square. That way the Davis Square LJ community can stay "on topic" and people can also talk about whatever they want to talk about without bothering you. The Wholistic Enchilada is sort of like the "Miscelaneous" section of the Davis Square LJ forum. Know what I mean?

Heh. Enchilada Dreck. An excellent name for the community. Thanks! Hopefully it will be full of bizarre and silly and confusing dreck soon enough. I warn people who are easily confused to stay well away :-)
