MLK Day

I'm organizing a Martin Luther King Day celebration for the city of Somerville:

PLEASE COME!!!  You know you have the day off and you'll feel guilty if you don't do anything to actually observe the holiday.  (or you should)

I'd say I haven't had MLK day off since grade school, but back in the day my state didn't recognize it, so....

Unfortunately I do have to work that day. However, I work near downtown, so I'll try to go to the city of Boston's event at Faneuil Hall.

I also worked on the 'holiday'. The only true holidays left are for those who work for the government and the schools!

And the schoolteachers were all spending yesterday grading anyway ;). (Or writing tests or letters of recommendation, given when the deadlines are at my school...)
