Hi,

I'm writing an article on the Worldwide Lyndon Larouche movement for the Tufts Daily. A lot of you may have heard of them or know them better as the political college-age kids who (in)famously like to zealously engage people and pass out their literature by the T station in Davis.

I was wondering if anyone reading would be interested in sharing an experiences they might have with these people for my article - preferably something beyond the "they heckled me and i ignored them" story that many of us have. You don't have to have anything to do with Tufts, I'm just looking for anyone in general who may live in the Tufts/Davis area and has had interaction with them and a story to tell. It could be anything from a conversation you may have had with one of their members to political sympathy/involvement with their causes.

If anyone wants to help out I'd really appreciate it. Feel free to comment here or you can email me at mbourqui (at) gmail.com if you're interested or have any questions.

Thanks!

While you're researching that article, you may want to talk to Chip Berlet of Political Research Associates. He is very familiar with the LaRouche cult and has writte extensively on the subject. PRA's office is right here, on Broadway in far-West Somervile.

And their websites are...

I know you were looking for local, personal experiences. But since somebody saw fit to refer you to "LaRouche Expert" Chip Berlet, a long time critic and bitter enemy of LaRouche, I thought it would be only fair to post links to the principal LaRouche sites, just for balance.

http://www.larouchepac.com

This is the main site for LaRouche's political action committee.

http://www.larouchepub.com

This is the site for EIR, LaRouche's weekly magazine of news and analysis.

http://www.wlym.com

The site for the LaRouche Youth Movement. This site is distinguished by its many hours of video and audio files, ranging from LaRouche's own presentations, to classes and "cadre school" presentations for new members. Plus there are PDF's of otherwise hard to find "vintage LaRouche" documents from the seventies.

LaRouche's quarterly science magazine

Have fun,
