Hi, folks,
Looking for someone to sublet my spacious and sunny room on the 3rd floor of a 3-story Somerville apartment building.
The room: 12 x 12 (approx) with high ceiling, small closet. Lot's of room - I've got a full-size bed, a desk, a bookshelf, and a wardrobe in there and still have lots of space.
The apt.: Free laundry in the basement, sunny common room with sectional couch (aka "guest accomodations") and XBox 360, nice dining room table, big kitchen pantry, plenty of space all around. You split gas, electric, cable, and wireless.
The 'hood: House is on a quiet one-way section of road, but less than 5 minutes to the actual T. Plenty of permit parking, non-permit parking just a couple blocks away on Willow Ave.
The roommates: 2 professional males, 27 and 28, and a rabbit, which lives (exclusively) on the front porch. Both are active and social, enjoy watching baseball and doing yoga. Very laid back folks, queer-friendly. They can be pretty messy in the common areas. If you're an overly neat person, you probably don't want to live here.
The deal: Rent is 650 a month - might be negotiable. Move-in date also negotioable - I'm aiming for a March 31st move-out.
Talk to me: gmail address is my LJ username. Drop me a line with any questions. Thanks!

Date: 2007-03-08 05:30 pm (UTC)So on your way out of the place, if you fulfill your threat to take it to a pet store where it has a good chance of becoming snakefood, drop me a line instead. We'd take it in, or at least get it on its way to the House Rabbit society or something.

Date: 2007-03-08 08:28 pm (UTC)I'm sure there are people in the world who could take better care of it than my roommate, but I don't think it's being neglected where it is now. I'm more worried about my health from inhaling poo-dust.
Maybe you could pose as an animal welfare agent acting on a tip. But in the meantime, do you have any resources that I can name drop?
