PART-TIME ADMINISTRATOR - JOB DESCRIPTION

$16/hour @ 10 hours/week    

Our fun, progressive and arts-friendly spiritual community is looking for an organizing powerhouse and creative maven! The job involves some right-brain administrative tasks and general office procedure; some left-brain writing, organizing, cheerleading.

Under general direction of the minister, the admin will serve as liaison between church office and church community members and/or leadership, also between church and various institutions and groups in the wider community.

Hours are very flexible, and vacation generous (hidden spiritual benefits TBD by the candidate).

Need not be a member of ours, or any, religious community. LGBT and minorities especially encouraged to apply.

Required skills:  computer literacy (including MS Word, MS Publisher and MS Excel or comparable), Internet skills, excellent writing and editing skills, responsible, self-directing, sensitive phone manner, creative and a sense of enthusiasm and warmth. Portuguese language skills a plus.
