Kind of a long shot, but does anyone knows of a place where I can find a list of cabstands and their locations in the area? I'm specifically wondering if there is a regular cabstand in Inman Square. (Sorry - only tangentially related to Davis, but you guys are really helpful!)

I've seen one around the rear side of the S&S Deli, near their parking lot. There's room for about two cars there, and it's posted "No Parking - Cab Stand" although I don't think I've ever actually seen a cab there.

In all my years of going to Inman Square on a regular basis, I think I have only seen cabs at that "Cab Stand" once. It doesn't seem to be used at all. Which really sucks since I have terrible luck at catching a cab in Inman.

If that cab stand isn't used, they should just revert it to regular parking spaces. :-P

Traffic and Parking offices for the different cities should have a list of the posted cab stands. However, as folks have already said, posted cab stands get more or less use.
