Great foray for Chipotle

davis_squareI realize it opened last December, but I ate at Medford's Chipotle Grill for the first time tonight. (Actually, I arrived at 9:50 and quickly ordered a to-go carnitas salad before they closed at 10.) I enjoyed the food. I know I went to one of their Colorado locations, though I don't recall which one and when.
After eating the salad in the comfort of my kitchen, I browsed online and came across one source that said the company signed a 10-year lease for their Wellington Circle Plaza location, and also this BBJ story from last November states the chain will open 7-10 stores in metro Boston during 2007 alone.
I like healthy foods...and also like healthy competition. Let the fresh Tex-Mex wars begin!
