Over the past two weeks I've seen a pretty orange tiger cat going in and out of a hole at the base of my garage door on Bay State Avenue in Ball Square. The cat is an adult and rather thin. I can't tell if s/he is wearing a collar since all the sightings have been from my 3rd floor balcony when I didn't have my glasses on. The cat does respond to human voice and seems to want attention but is very frightened. S/he may be camping out in my garage.
I've put out food and water, but this pretty cat deserves better in life, and I have two already. If this kitty is yours, s/he misses you...
My e-mail is on my info page.

"Possibly" lost?
Date: 2007-04-16 10:41 pm (UTC)They won't come and collect the cat unless you ask them to, and this way you might actually be able to reunite the lost cat with its lost owner. Odds are much higher the cat's owner has called the Animal officers than has an LJ.
And if you know someone who might be interested in adopting the cat, they can provide the tests and other health checks at a discounted rate (So says the neighbor who took in the stray).
