Hanscom/ MIT LL Rideshare?

Anyone in the Medford/Arlington/Somerville area work on Hanscom or at The Labs who would be interested in car pooling this week while my truck undergoes TLC (namely, gets fixed to the point where it starts shifting again)?

If so, please drop a line here. My office mates live in NH. : (

I work up at LL and live in Somerville -- I can possibly provide a ride in the morning, but have an odd schedule after work so I can't promise a ride back.

I'm a 7 - 4 person but can amend my schedule to be flexible.

I doubt our schedules will mix then -- I leave here around 8:30 or so, get in at 9, and usually don't get home until after 6:30.

there is always the 76 bus. it goes right to the lab.

I would have to take a bus to Davis, the train to Alewife and the 76 from there (a good almost 3 hours when all is said and done which would mean a 3 am wake up time...I've done this once or twice) - plus, the 76 has a schedule that really doesn't fit.

I live in W Medford and take the 94 to Davis to red line to 76 to the lab. The whole thing takes about an hour and I get to the lab @730am.

Where do you live that it takes takes that long to get to davis?

On the other side, about a spit from the Everett line and Wellington circle. If I still lived in W. Medford, it would, indeed, be a different story.

Of course, getting here at 730 would also make me late. ; )

If you work at LL, you should check out the local Usenet newsgroup ll.bboard . It's really easy to find carpools there.

I think the ll.bboard newsgroup is only available from computers on the Lincoln Labs network, so it wouldn't work for you unless you get someone who works at the lab to post for you.

Another idea is to go to the lab cafeteria and post a (paper) sign on the bulletin board.
