Hey ya'll. The little store Greenward, specializing in "Eco-Modern Goods," finally opened over in Porter Square. I figured since it's within walking distance of Davis, ya'll might be interested.

I'll spare ya the details, but I wrote up my visit today on porter_square over here.

Oh, "Greenward." I first read it "Greenwad," which is something different entirely. The photos of the store look interesting and I really like the concept, but I walked right by the place today without seeing it. They must be on the basement level, where the computer shop was located. I hope they are allowed to put out some sort of street signage in the summer to increase their store visibility.

Yep, it's in the basement shop. (I wrote that in the longer post over on porter_square, but since this was kind of off-topic, I didn't want to reprint the whole thing here.)

Greenwad would just be... bad.

You are welcome! I had been eagerly anticipating them opening, then I forgot and was reminded today when I saw a little sign in their sidewalk planter pointing out that it wasn't an ashtray. I looked down and, HEY! they were open! :)
