I'm a bit confused by the Journal's article on La Contessa.

Does Annette own the shop? (implied by "she refused to sell out to chains and other bakeries" and by "she handpicked a promising entrepreneur who hopes to house a small sushi bar there soon")

Or does she rent it? (implied by "the store and bakery is set to close in a month facing rising rents, increasing parking problems and a changing Davis Square they can no longer afford.")

it occurred to me that i might make poor hardworking somjournal’s life easier by adding the Somerville Blog (http://blogs.townonline.com/somerville/)’s RSS feed to LJ syndication, thus removing the need to post frequent pointers to davis_square. :)
