China Sun closed for renovations

China Sun, the restaurant across the street from the Somerville Theatre, is closed for 'renovations'. There is a building permit on the front door. I don't know anything more. Do you?

I know that a great renovation for that space would be to put a new restaurant in it.

I remember the fairly short-lived Subway. When the current renovations are complete, we'll have a new Asian restaurant.

I never eat IN the restaurant, but I've ordered delivery from there Many Many times and they've always been quite fine and very (10m, sometimes.) fast. I'll miss 'em if they don't come back.

I've eaten in there before or after a Somerville Theatre show. The decor is non-existent but the food's been OK for me.

I ate there once on my first trip to Davis Square and it was pretty bad. When I moved to the area shortly after, I decided to give it another try and it was so bad that I didn't even finish my dish, and I love Chinese food. My favorite in the area is Dragon Garden, hands down.
