Gunshots in Union Square?

I heard a series of gunshots early Monday morning (May 21, after 2AM) in the Prospect Hill/Union Square area.  Eight of them, I believe, in a 2-3 second span.  Anyone else hear this or have more info?  Thanks.

The Somerville News website has a short, not especially informative item on this subject.

But both articles say this happened around 1 am, while you say you heard this more than an hour later. Did more than one shooting happen this morning?

Sorry to introduce confusion to the matter -- I thought it was later than 1AM, but did not check the time. It clearly occurred at 1AM. I knew the incident had been reported to the police by the sirens that started a couple minutes later. When I reported hearing the shots to the police, they indicated they were looking for witnesses or any info on the shooter.
