Anyone know what's going on with energy rates around here?

I just moved and haven't gotten my first energy bill yet, and I'm trying to use this online calculator to figure out how much my window unit's costing me, but it needs to know what my kilowatt/hour rate is and I have no idea what that might be.

The last discussion I could find in this community was over a year ago when people seemed to be saying that NStar was charging around 12 cents / kwh. Has it gone up since then?

Thanks in advance (or apologies, if this has been posted already).

The Supplier Basic Fixed cost is about 12 cents right now but the total delivered cost including distribution, transmission, and other screw us fees is closer to 19 cents as provided by righteousness.

About $0.18/kWh; be careful reading the new-format bills, as they fold the monthly service charge in to one of the line items and so it's easy to calculate something a bit higher.

Oh, NSTAR by the way.

Not that you asked, but per unit energy gas is about half the price, but the bills are in such different units (kWh vs Therms) that it's not easy to compare. 1 Therm is equivalent to 26.25 kWh or 105 MJ for those keeping score at home.
