Does anyone know of any online communities where people get together to talk about local environmental topics/issues/initiatives?

We at Magpie are looking to drum up a few more participants for an eco-friendly craft fair in Union Square Somerville next month. We're looking not only for crafters and artists but local non-profits who might want to get the word out about their cause. We have a great lineup of participants so far but are looking to fill a few more spaces.

We'd also welcome suggestions right in this thread. Or you can email us at recraft{at}magpie-store{dot}com.

Somerville-based artist/crafters/non-profit suggestions would be most truly welcomed!

Thanks!

There are often lots of eco-conscious nonprofits at ArtBeat (like the Mystic River Task Force). So if you need more places filled at the end of the week, just speak to people at booths on Saturday (many of them are often in the area behind the T station in the 7 Hills Park).

If you get in touch with folks at Groundworks Somerville, they can probably help with this.
