Antique Stores
Aug. 1st, 2007 02:01 pmMy mom is coming to visit this weekend, and she really likes going antiqueing. Does anyone know if there are any antique stores in the Somerville/Cambridge area? I honestly haven't noticed any, but then, I haven't been looking.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Date: 2007-08-04 02:32 pm (UTC)The prices in the Boston area are pretty high though. My parents also took me up into new Hampshire looking for stuff and we saw the same sort of china cabinet for $300 in NH and $600 here (and not in as nice shape). That may not matter if your mom isn't on a mission to get something in particular. (Interesting tidbit, apparently there is a "season" among antique shoppers for buying dining room sets, in the late summer. Go figure.)
